  • Why not hire a regular locksmith?
  • Locksmiths are not authorized to check out arrow-keys to access your mailbox. If you don’t know your mailbox door and unit number they will not be able to help you. If you do know your mailbox door and unit number they will have to drill out or pick your lock and you may be liable for any damage caused by this unauthorized practice.
  • Why do I need to provide proof of residency?
  • A: In order for us to protect the identity of our clients and our responsibility to all customers of the United States Postal Service we require proof of residency for every Lock Change and Re-key. It is the only way we can protect the public from fraud.
  • My mailbox has been vandalized. Who is responsible for the repair or replacement?
  • First, report the vandalism/and or break-in to USPS Inspection at 1-877-876-2455. If the mailbox is owned by the USPS they will repair or replace the mailbox. If the mailbox is privately owned through the Builder, HOA, or Individual owner the expense is the owner’s. One way to tell is if there is an AIS # (auxiliary identification serial number) on the mailbox usually that’s a good indication that the box is owned by the USPS.
  • What areas do Express Mailbox service?
  • We provide all of our services to the Greater Phoenix Area which primarily includes, but is not limited to: Phoenix, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Surprise, Tolleson, Sun City, Peoria, Glendale, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Laveen, Maricopa, and Queen Creek.  We also provide services to others cites based on availability and volume of work.
